Queen Creek was the logical next step for multi-unit franchisee Jan Newton, who’s had customers making the 20 to 30-minute trek to her store in Gilbert since opening seven years ago.
Kayla Lardakis, who owns and operates the restaurant with husband Peter, wanted to bring a bit of their Chicago roots to Arizona when they opened the flagship location in 2021.
The new location will bring the brand’s Phoenix area footprint to three, with outposts currently open near the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Arcadia Lite.
