“We’ve been blessed having our first Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery serving the communities of Gilbert and Mesa for the past seven years,” Newton tells What Now Phoenix. “During that time many residents of Queen Creek have become loyal guests, happily making the 20- to 30-minute drive to Gilbert to pick up cakes. And our bakery delivery service already serves homes and businesses in Queen Creek.”

Newton went on to add, “When news hit that we’re opening a bakery in the Queen Creek Marketplace I was happily shocked with the tremendous response! From Queen Creek elected officials to the Chamber of Commerce, Nothing Bundt Cakes has been welcomed with fanfare and enthusiasm.”

Nothing Bundt Cakes was founded in Las Vegas in 1997 as a humble in-home operation by Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz. Over the years they’ve garnered a devoted following for their highly customizable creations – each of which is baked fresh on-site – and grown the company’s portfolio to more than 430 locations across North America.

“To find the perfect recipe for joy, you need the perfect ingredients,” the company writes on its official website. “That’s what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other,” adding, “From ‘Happy Birthday’ to ‘Just Because’ moments, Nothing Bundt Cakes is all about bringing joy to our guests!”

What’s more, it’s a mission statement and brand identity that’s near and dear to Newton’s heart, who echoes the sentiment, saying, “It never gets old hearing, ‘We love your cakes!’ when our Queen Creek neighbors hear that we’ll soon be ‘Bringing the Joy’ to their bustling community. And I’m so excited about our new bakery location that my husband and I are in the process of building a home there.”
