Ambrogio15, a “Milano Pizza Experience” from San Diego, plans to open their fourth location at Biltmore Fashion Park in Phoenix. In what will be Ambrogio15’s biggest location yet, Phoenicians will get a taste of true Milano-style cuisine paired with fun cocktails and natural wines when they open in Fall 2023.
Ambrogio15 specializes in authentic Milano gourmet pizzas, of which they offer four varieties including a paper-thin crust, thick whole-wheat crust, a pillowy Nuvola Focaccia, and a crunchy Scrocchiarella crust. The pizzas are made with special dough recipes developed over hundreds of trials, plus high-quality ingredients sourced from small-scale, organic and sustainable producers and farmers in Italy.
Since its founding in 2015 by friends Giacomo Pizzigoni and Andrea Burrone, Ambrogio15 has since garnered a reputation for being one of San Diego’s highest-rated restaurants, earning the “best pizza of 2020” title by the San Diego Union-Tribune. The new Arizona restaurant will serve these award-winning pizzas, plus an expanded menu featuring modern “Italian Fusion Gastronomy.”
Expect new additions to their traditional menu from pizzas and pastas, to steak and seafood. This new location will also be Ambrogio15’s first to feature a cocktail program, on top of their next-level natural wine list.
