The new outpost will combine the vibe of the marketplace with New York ambiance and decor. The exposed brick walls are matched with trendy Phoenix architecture including an open ceiling, red tufted booths, TVs throughout, and two garage doors situated above the huge rectangle indoor/outdoor bar leading to the patio. The 1,000 sq ft patio, which wraps around the building, will be outfitted with astroturf, outdoor TVs, and a misting system to keep guests cool and comfortable.

The Artichoke menu includes appetizers, salads, desserts, pasta and traditional pies like Margherita, Pepperoni, Meatball, along with the namesake Artichoke Pie and Crab Pie. The Artichoke has a full bar of wines, cocktails and 12-16 beers on tap.

This opening marks the third Artichoke franchise for Ron Marino, who has spearheaded the Arizona statewide expansion. Marino said in a statement: “We’re beyond excited to finally be opening at the lively Desert Ridge Marketplace, which is home to a diverse assortment of attractions and nightlife that make it a hotspot in the area and the perfect location for the Artichoke concept. We can’t wait to open our doors and begin serving guests a classic taste of Artichoke Basille’s Pizza.”

Artichoke Basille’s Pizza is located in the Desert Ridge Marketplace at 21001 N Tatum Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85050 and is open Sunday-Thursday 11am-9pm and Friday-Saturday 11am- 12am.
