Asian Fusion Restaurant Bang Bang is Opening in Tempe

Nightlife connoisseur Islam Ahmed is bringing an Asian fusion restaurant and nightclub to Tempe.

Bang Bang, an Asian fusion restaurant and nightclub from San Diego, is opening in Tempe at 420 Mill Ave, #201, according to Mouth By Southwest.

This new location is in the the former Gordon Biersch space, which has previously been empty for years.

Aside from techno and house events, the restaurant will be serving sushi and sake.The Google description of their California location describes the spot as a “buzzing club featuring a tunneled entrance, 3 spaces, bottle service & Asian fusion bites.”

Started in 2013, Bang Bang San Diego closed during the pandemic, and has since re-opened under new owner Islam Ahmed. His Miami-based company is called Pyramid Artists & Events, which is a nightlife promotion and party company that he founded in 2019.

What Now Phoenix did not immediately hear back from Ahmed for comment.
