A new bar and restaurant concept by the Barstool Sports website is allegedly coming to Arizona. Barstool Scottsdale has applied for its liquor license at 4321 N. Scottsdale Road, where it seeks to take over the former Two Brothers Brewing & Taphouse in Old Town Scottsdale.
Plans have been submitted to the city, indicating a 8,702-square foot restaurant space outfit with a full bar and an adjacent 1,748-square foot outdoor patio. Founded by David Portnoy in 2003, the $450 million online publication maintains a steady flow of local and national sports news and memes, as well as sports gambling.
The brand recently debuted Barstool River North in Chicago, a sports bar serving classic bar bites, craft beers, cocktails, wine and of course, plenty of televisions to enjoy multiple sporting events at once. We’re likely in for a similar vibe at the new Scottdale establishment. Stay tuned.
