Officially opening today, February 22, Los Milics Vineyards is taking up a cozy space that will initially feature bar and table seating. Later this year, a larger permanent tasting room will open in the same location in different quarters, according to a press release. In addition to the Scottsdale tasting room, nine casitas and a restaurant will open in May 2024 at the Elgin winery, which is less than an hour’s drive from Tucson and less than three hours from Phoenix.

“We have looked forward to launching our tasting room and being part of Scottsdale’s robust wine-tasting scene,” Pavle Milic, LMV winemaker and partner in Los Milics Vineyards, said in a press release. “We have many wine club members from the Valley and hope to make many new Los Milics fans by bringing our wines to Scottsdale.”

Los Milics Estate Vineyards is located in Elgin, Arizona, and was voted as one of the top three New Winery Experiences in the U.S. by USA Today last year. The winery includes three vineyards, a production facility, and an architecturally stunning tasting room and produces award-winning red, white, and rosé wines.

“Our location, at Marshall Way and Third Avenue, is a great addition for Los Milics Vineyards,” Mo Garfinkle, LMV partner, said in a press release. “Our vision is to make excellent wines, serve them in special places where people can enjoy the ambiance and the wines, and make memorable experiences for our guests. Scottsdale is ideal for us.”
