The company’s 12th location will move into the former home of Burger King in Summer 2023, according to a company representative. The Colorado-based company recently expanded from its eight home state locations into Carrollton, TX, and is now getting ready to move into Arizona again. Birdcall is currently in Scottsdale, with another location coming to Gilbert this summer. Customers can expect a chef-inspired menu with dishes garnished with ingredients like bacon, red onion jam, buttermilk herb mayo, and peanut slaw.

Birdcall’s first location opened in Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood in 2017. The restaurant aimed to create a new kind of quick-service dining experience encompassing fresh and natural chicken, making high-quality meals approachable and affordable. Birdcall recently announced last December that Mark Lohmann, the former President of REGO Restaurant Group, will be the company’s CEO. At the same time, Peter Newlin, who has held the position since the brand’s inception, became the company’s first Chief Experience Officer.

“Birdcall is competitively advantaged and differentiated versus other brands in a unique and special way,” Lohmann said in a press release when he became CEO. “We have a leading edge and proprietary technology ecosystem, high-quality natural chicken, superior hospitality, and some of the best food you can get anywhere. When combined with our active and thoughtful involvement within each of our communities, we can grow in an exciting way. I couldn’t be more thrilled and honored to join and to work alongside Peter and the rest of the team to grow this exceptional brand.”
