Currently anticipated to open January 2024, the new spot will be located at 7014 E 1st Avenue, which is in the former Arcadia Farms 1953 house turned restaurant.

The press release shared the following quote from the brand founder Lexi Caliskan: “I love the unique style of charcuterie eating. It’s sharable, unique, beautiful, and delicious. It’s meaningful to me to share food with the people I love in a beautiful way. Mon Cheri, ‘My Dear’ will be a unique dining experience and a proper introduction to modern charcuterie dining.”

It also gave an overview of the founder’s background: “Caliskan has always loved to share food – it’s been her style of eating for as long as she can remember. She coined it ‘the girlfriend style of eating’ – when girls enjoy stealing bites from their boyfriends’ plates. That’s how her vision of Mon Cheri was created. While this may be her first venture in the culinary space, Caliskan is experienced in the entrepreneurial product world. She founded the Original MakeUp Eraser in 2013 and has many accolades to her name. Caliskan partnered with Uno Más Hospitality Group on the new project. Uno Más was recently founded by a dedicated team of seasoned hospitality and business professionals that provide immense hospitality experience. They create unparalleled, experiential bar and restaurant concepts that redefine the standard of indulgence.”

Open every day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., their menu will feature curated charcuterie boards, with anticipated favorites such as the Old Town Board, which features all locally sourced ingredients. Another option for customers includes the the Specialty Board, which will be seasonal and trendy. Mon Cheri will also offer a full-service European menu as well as pre-designed multi-course menus. For drinks, there will be fancy cocktails – designed to complement the menu “with photo opportunities in mind.” Beyond that, there will be designer boards available to-go.

Aesthetically, the space is painted pink, with plush velvet seating, custom murals, girly décor, vintage dishes, and pink china. Upon entering, guests will be greeted by a champagne cart located in front of the restaurant. Seating options include the all-season covered front, patios, and an expansive back courtyard that they describe as a romantic environment.
