Tacos & Friends has been a concept since 2022 under Chef Anthony Sheedy, serving family recipes and showing off their love of food. Sheedy tells What Now Phoenix that he hopes to be up and running by April 2024. When it opens, customers can expect delicious Mexican food, such as deep-fried tacos and spicy rice. The food truck will serve the greater Tempe area, but it is likely the chef will open the business up to events and other parts of Phoenix.

Before this venture, Sheedy launched a few other local businesses in the Phoenix area, including a youth athletics business, teaching sports to children ages 2-6, and a real estate business. Before becoming an Arizona businessman with multiple companies, Sheedy served in the U.S. Army, where he worked as a Warrant Officer in the IT field.

Today, Anthony is a proud father of three girls living in Tempe with their two rescue dogs, and in his spare time, he enjoys boxing and sparring on the weekends. When he launches the new food truck, he will devote a good amount of his time to serving the residents of Tempe one plate at a time. There isn’t an exact location as to where the food truck will be when it opens, but Sheedy plans to start in Tempe before exploring other parts of Phoenix.
