According to a liquor license application filed with the State of Arizona earlier this month, a new market will open at 11833 N 19th St. in Phoenix. The application, which was received on October 7th of this year, indicates the opening of a market called Down the Street at the site. The company behind the market, Down the Street LLC, was incorporated in July of this year.

Documents attached to the application show a sketch of the space. Down the Street will have three aisles of shelves, a reach-in cooler, a beer walk-in cooler, and a deli. The market’s license is currently pending.

It appears the market will open in small strip mall on N 19th Ave, which is already home to Royal Barber Shop, Arizona Green Life, and iPack Ship & Mail. The market will be located within less than a mile from Shaw Butte Elementary School and Kingdom in the Valley Christian Church.

No word yet on when exactly the market will be open, but you can keep your eye out on the space next time you’re in the area, and, as always, check back in What Now Phoenix for updates.
