Eegee’s entrance into the Phoenix metro has been a long time coming. The Tucson-based chain recently opened a location in northern Phoenix to positive reception, so it’s no surprise that Eegee’s might have eyes on more real estate throughout the Valley.
A pre-application for a new location is under review with the city of Peoria, where Eegee’s would like to establish a 2,300-square foot drive-through restaurant on the northwest corner of 83rd Avenue and Cactus Road. If these plans are approved to move forward, it’s possible that this new location will open sometime in 2023.
If you haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, Eegee’s namesake menu item is a smooth frozen beverage blended to perfection with fresh fruit. It comes in lemon, strawberry, piña colada, skinny berry, and their rotating flavor of the month. They also serve grinders, subs, salads and fries.
