The newest restaurant from HL Concepts, which also owns Nori and Shinbay, will open within the Desert Ridge Marketplace across from Barnes & Noble in the former home of California Pizza Kitchen, according to the mall’s website. Founder Hyunwook Lee has yet to announce an opening date, but the restaurateur is also working on opening another location of Sizzle Korean Barbecue in the Arrowhead Towne Center. This is just one of many new restaurants coming to the Desert Ridge Marketplace later this year.

The shopping center recently introduced several new eateries, including Artichoke Pizza, Cartel Roasting Co., and Dirty Dough. This is just the beginning for Desert Ridge Marketplace, which is also welcoming a new Fat Tuesday, Kona Grill, Spitz Mediterranean Street Food, and Yonutz, as well as a new Nordstrom Rack. When the new Jin Jia opens, customers can expect food with uncompromising quality in a comfortable yet sophisticated setting, much like all of the restaurant group’s other concepts.

Desert Ridge Marketplace will be a perfect spot for the new restaurant concept. The shopping center already has a handful of welcoming sit-down restaurants, such as Thirsty Lion, Barrio Queen, and The Whining Pig Beer & Wine Bar. In contrast to these restaurants and bars, Jin Jia will be the only one to offer upscale Asian cuisine, bringing even more dining options to the shopping center. HL Concepts is also very familiar with this area, as Nori Sushi is a few blocks away.
