The new business is slated to take over the former Jade Star Chinese restaurant at 10050 W. Bell Road. The space spans 2,578 square-feet, which suggests that there may be plenty of room for a unique and flavorful dining experience.

Owner Bassam Shajar told What Now Phoenix in a phone call today that Kahramana Palace is his very first restaurant. He is looking forward to its debut this spring, saying that they should be ready to open in about two months.

Other than the fact that they will serve Mediterranean cuisine, Shajar was tight-lipped about what else is in store for this new restaurant. At the moment, he is planning to put up a website and boost marketing efforts through social media, so it’s likely that he wants to save all the major details for when these things go live.

If you happen to find yourself in the area on a trip to the neighboring Tuesday Morning or Ace Hardware, keep an eye on Suite 8 to see how Kahramana Palace is coming along.
