Owner Loren Varden tells What Now Phoenix that she hopes to be up and running from her new location sometime in April. Until then, Stripped Wax & Beauty will remain open for business from its original outpost in Arcadia.

At the moment, the studio’s new home is under construction. Interior walls are being put up within the 1,332 square-foot space, which will feature three treatment rooms and two brow bar stations. Stripped Wax & Beauty has offered full-body waxing and eyebrow shaping since late 2018.

After two-and-a-half years in the waxing industry, Varden decided to branch out and start her own business. In conversation with Voyage Phoenix in 2020, Voren said she wanted “Something that would allow not only creative freedom, but that would allow me to provide a more personalized, comfortable, and inviting environment for women and men to receive such intimate services.”
