For those who want to get up early enough, the first 50 guests lined up at 7 a.m. outside of their Arrowhead location — which opens October 15 — will get free bacon for six months.

The breakfast eatery originally opened its doors in 2004, where the tiny 800-square foot restaurant grew into one of the most popular in Arizona, according to their website.

It further states, “We think that food tastes better when prepared simply with better ingredients. That’s why we have sought out items to serve in our restaurant that are of a very high quality.”

When Guy Fieri of Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives stopped by, he agreed that, with Matt’s Big Breakfast, “It’s the ‘real thing’ that is keeping this place packed.”

Guests can enjoy meals like the salami scramble with Molinari sopressata salami, three eggs, toast and a choice of potatoes or the big papa burrito with Schreiner’s chorizo, roasted Yukon gold potatoes, organic pinto beans, jalapenos and cheddar cheese.

While the Glendale location opens in just a few weeks, expect to see the Gilbert spot open with the rest of the Epicenter at Agritopia sometime in spring 2022.
