A Mountain Mike’s Pizza has signed at the District 99 complex located at 99th Avenue and McDowell Road, according to information shared with What Now Phoenix by Thompson Thrift.
The site is directly across from Gateway Pavilions, which has a Costco, Ulta Beauty, Marshall’s, and Harkins Theatres as well as eateries such as Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s, Coldstone, Red Robin, Taco Bell, and Carraba’s.
The chain originally started in 1978 in Palo Alto, California. According to their website, “It all started with a single pizzeria and a dream of creating a place where families, friends, and sports enthusiasts could gather over the perfect pizza. Over 45 years, that dream has blossomed into Mountain Mike’s Pizza, a PIZZA LEGEND and a beloved brand with nearly 300 locations in the western United States including California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Texas, Colorado, Washington and Wisconsin. Our secret? A steadfast commitment to quality, using only the freshest, finest ingredients in every pie we serve. Our mission hasn’t wavered from day one, to offer you the ideal pizza experience and Pizza the Way it Oughta Be.”
Their pizza shops share a family-oriented atmosphere serving pizza, wings, sandwiches, sides, desserts, salads, and beverages.
An exact opening date has not been announced, but is set for next year.
