“The addition of Sip Fresh to this retail location will bring a fresh, new beverage offering that is sure to delight Arrowhead guests!” a spokesperson for the company tells What Now Phoenix.

“At Sip Fresh, fresh fruit and fresh juice come together in unique and exciting ways to offer a deliciously visual and tasty experience for consumers. There is no doubt that Arrowhead guests will delight in this deliciously eye-stopping, fresh fruit beverage offering this fall.”

Likewise, Sip Fresh Founder and CEO, Sharon Arthofer says, “It’s an exciting moment for our brand to soon be introduced to the state of Arizona, and we look forward to guests experiencing our eye-stopping, high-quality fruit-based beverages that can be enjoyed by the entire family. At Sip Fresh, we invite all guests to sample our juices to find the one that is just perfect for them!”

While the Glendale outpost will be corporate-owned, Sip Fresh also announced last Thursday, Sep 29, that it had inked it’s first multi-unit franchise deal with entrepreneur, Lawrence Kourie.

Kourie’s franchise empire will kick off in his home city of San Diego this month, before moving “quickly on additional units throughout the Southwest, eventually becoming a multi-state franchisee,” Kourie said in a statement.

“It’s really a brand that is set up for success from day one, which is why my intention was to jump on this opportunity right away,” said Kourie. “It’s incredibly special to be joining the Sip Fresh team as a franchisee in the beginning of their growth, which I have no doubt will be aggressive.”

As the first franchisee to sign on with Dave’s Hot Chicken, as well as the first to open a Wetzel’s Pretzels in the convenience store market, Kourie said he knows “firsthand the incredible experience of being a first-time franchisee and working closely with the brand’s founders and key development team.”

In a press release provided to What Now Phoenix regarding the franchise agreement, Arthofer added, “We are thrilled to award our first multi-unit franchise to Lawrence. His extensive resume and experience in the franchising industry is invaluable. Not only is Lawrence enthusiastic about his business, he also sets a positive example for the franchise system. His commitment to developing a top-notch team, providing excellent product quality, and delivering an incredible guest experience are in alignment with Sip Fresh values.”

Correction: This article was updated Thursday, Oct 6, to reflect that the Glendale store is corporate-owned, and not part of the franchise agreement.
