The company’s third Phoenix location is set to open at the GSQ in downtown Goodyear, off McDowell Road and 150th Drive, sometime in Summer 2024, according to the City of Goodyear. The new Spitz Mediterranean Street Food will be owned and operated by franchisee Jaskarn Singh. Other restaurants opening at GSQ include The Stillery, Copper & Sage, High Tide Seafood, Bacchus Wine Bar, The Yard Milkshake Bar, Over Easy, and Shake Shack.

“We’re really excited to be part of GSQ,” Singh said in a news release. “When you visit Spitz, you’ll see nice art in a friendly environment with great music, good drinks, and really great food.”

When the restaurant opens later this summer, customers can expect an award-winning menu that includes overflowing wraps, rich salads, gyros, flatbread pizzas, fries, and more, as well as craft beer, wine, sangria, and cocktails. Spitz Mediterranean Street Food is also working on new locations in Placentia, CA; Bozeman, MT; and Hillsboro, OR. The company already has a handful of locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Minnesota, Oregon, Texas, and Utah.

“I am thrilled to welcome Spitz to our growing GSQ community! Their food is a fantastic addition to the diverse culinary experience we are trying to build,” Mayor Joe Pizzillo said in a news release. “This is another exciting step forward in making Goodyear a vibrant and attractive destination for residents and visitors alike.”
