The Craftsman Cocktails & Kitchen has become known in Scottsdale and Tempe for being a true foodie’s resto, thanks to its chic ambiance, scratch kitchen & bar, and ideal indoor and outdoor social spaces.
Since opening in October 2020, The Craftsman Cocktails & Kitchen’s Scottsdale location (20469 North Hayden; on the southeast corner of Hayden & Thompson Peak) has been a favorite due to its welcoming, upscale-casual ambiance, its farm-to-table from-scratch dining options and handcrafted artisan cocktails, its wine and beer list, and its sunset-view patio.
The addition of the Tempe location in December 2022 (1006 E. Warner Rd.) echoes the style, atmosphere, cuisine, and libations of the flagship but with subtle esthetic nods unique to Tempe.
A third location of The Craftsman Cocktails & Kitchen is set to open in Buckeye’s Village Grove at Verrado this fall, at 19580 W. Indian School Road. This location’s nosh and bevs will echo the craft esthetic of the Scottsdale and Tempe locations, including indoor and covered outdoor dining & social spaces with 9 TVs, with the patio offering misting fans, heaters, and a modern fireplace.
The Buckeye location will additionally have a “secret” speakeasy, connected directly to The Craftsman, but accessible via a separate, “hidden” door. At this lounge, dubbed “The Westward,” guests will enjoy creative specialty cocktails highlighting the group’s Craftsman Distillers bottled spirits, and a menu of 8 handmade share plates, hinting at the artistry in the kitchen.
Its high-end club feeling is realized through an indoor fireplace and interior appointments in rich leathers and velvets, in hues of dark blue, dark green, dark orange, and golds. The menu boasts imagery right out of a tarot deck, so look for the symbols, ingredients, and chis to fulfill the mood you desire.
All three locations of The Craftsman Cocktails & Kitchen are local family-owned and -operated, and strive to deliver a relaxed experience through imaginitive, flavorful dishes and drinks. And all three also feature Craftsman Distillers bottled spirits, which are available at local retail stores and restaurants throughout the valley.
The Craftsman Cocktails & Kitchen at Village Grove at Verrado in Buckeye opens to the public in early October with a Grand Opening Celebration throughout the weekend of Friday, October 13 through Sunday, October 15.
