The new location was recently announced as one of the first tenants, along with Postino WineCafe, coming to The Switchyard, which encompasses 10 acres with 54,000 square feet of restaurant, retail, and office space, according to Queen Creek Sun Times. The Porch will feature 11,900 square feet with an expansive outdoor patio. Customers can expect creative pub food, cocktails, games, and TVs for watching sports. The Switchyard is scheduled to break ground in the fourth quarter of this year and will open in phases, starting in early 2026.

“This exciting project helps bring the vision of our downtown core to life,” Queen Creek Mayor Julia Wheatley said in a news release. “With specialty restaurant and retail, along with a boutique office, The Switchyard will offer a variety of options for residents and visitors in the heart of our community. Creation has been a great partner, and we are so excited to see this high-quality development move forward, enhancing the overall experience in Queen Creek’s downtown.”

The Porch, which has locations in Arcadia, Tempe, and Downtown Gilbert, features comfortable food, a fun atmosphere, an extensive cocktail menu, countless craft beers, and a hearty wine list, as well as an amazing “party” brunch menu, excellent happy hour menu specials, and local DJ’s on Friday and Saturday nights. This will be the latest restaurant for the Royale Jelly Hospitality Group, created in 2017 and currently oversees six restaurant and bar locations in the Phoenix area, with more on the horizon.

“Our brand is ever-evolving with new concepts,” According to the Royale Jelly Hospitality Group’s website. “We know our markets and tailor our ventures to the local neighborhood while also reaching out to a wider audience. Our team’s experience in the restaurant, bar, club, café, and lounge market is over 25 years and counting. RJH specializes in management, marketing, design, creativity, and uniqueness paired with delicious and diverse food and drink. We build locations that are comfortable and make you want to visit with friends and family over and over again due to our carefully selected team members, amazing food, delicious drink, and cool vibe.”
