The company’s fifth location will be located within The Sydney, a $100 million project that had its groundbreaking earlier this month, according to the Business Journal. The 26-acre site will be on Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Land near 90th Street and the Loop 101 Freeway. Project developers recently announced Reverb by Hard Rock, a new 168-key hotel, will be one of the tenants at this project, joining the previously announced Pickle & Social and Goodsurf. The Rustic will feature delicious eats, various drinks, and plenty of live music.

The Rustic’s first Arizona location will feature meals made with farm-to-table ingredients, delicious cocktails, up to 40 local craft beers on tap, and performances by local and national artists. The restaurant, currently located in Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston, will likely source its products from Texas vendors, including seafood from the Gulf, steaks from local ranchers, and dairy and produce grown by local farmers. Founders Kyle Noonan and Josh Sepkowitz of FreeRange Concepts launched the restaurant in 2013 alongside Country legend Pat Green.

Considering The Sydney has recently started construction, and Reverb by Hard Rock is still eight to twelve months away from construction, The Rustic likely won’t open until sometime next year. When it does, it will be one of the primary dining and entertainment concepts at the development, with food options also at the hotel, Goodsurf, and Pickle & Social. Reverb by Hard Rock, which first opened in late 2020 in downtown Atlanta, will feature a bar and other amenities within the music-themed hotel.
