Owner Min Li confirmed with What Now Phoenix this week that they expect to finally open doors in June. Multiple public records indicate that last minute inspections are underway in the newly renovated shop at 67 N. Dobson Road at the Safeway-anchored shopping center across the way from Mekong Plaza.

Tiger Sugar is known for creating milk tea flavor so popular that it warns of copycat branding on its website. That’s why the company flew out specially trained baristas from Taiwan to ensure that this location will be serving an authentic boba experience, according to AZ Central.

Part of their appeal is in the “tiger stripes” that form on the side of the cup from hand-poured syrups and boba that are stewed for eight hours to achieve the perfect taste and consistency. No doubt, this is something we have to taste for ourselves to discover what all the hype is about.
