As What Now Phoenix reported last March, AZ International Plaza served as a temporary location, offering the company a chance to expand outside of its original outpost at 99 Ranch Market plaza in Chandler, where their boba made a big splash in its first year.

In its new, more permanent spot, Meet Fresh will be nestled in with the Mekong Supermarket and the Mekong Palace Dim Sum Chinese Restaurant, joined by newcomer bb.q (a Korean fried chicken franchise), and two to three more as-yet-undisclosed eateries, Drew Burtoni, Development Manager for Mekong Real Estate Investment Group, told the Phoenix New Times.

He also announced that Meet Fresh is changing their concept for the new location, part of the 35,000-square-foot expansion on Dobson Road and West Main Street, and that the entire move will take up to 14 months.

As if two locations aren’t enough, franchisee Yu tells What Now Phoenix that after 2024 he’ll be opening a third location in Old Town Scottsdale following the Mekong Plaza opening. However, there’s no address for that outpost yet.

Sister and Brother Fu followed traditional processes on their farm in Taiwan, carefully crafting soft taro balls with herbal jelly and other quality ingredients, before bringing their attention to detail to numerous locations across the United States. Favorites from their menu include the refreshing Icy Grass Jelly Combo, which includes red beans, boba, and aromatic grass jelly shaved ice; their signature seasonal treat of Hot Almond Soup filled with miniature taro balls, boba, red beans, and almond soup with shaved almond flakes; and their unmatched Purple Rice Series, which can be served hot or cold.
