What Now Phoenix previously covered their first location at 8160 W. Union Hills Drive in Glendale, and the new storefront will be at 9299 W Olive Ave in Peoria – taking over Winery 101’s spot, which closes on November 27th. An opening date has not been announced yet.
Their website reads, “We focus on small-lot, boutique wineries; offering fantastic options that you won’t find in the big-box stores. These are sustainably-grown wines, with many organic and vegan options as well. Wines you can feel good about consuming. Our wine menu rotates every month, giving you the opportunity to explore and try new things. Sometimes we get such a small allotment that our menu will change more than monthly! Explore our rotating menu, but come visit us in person to find out exactly what we have available today.”
Aside from their wines by the glass, bottle, and tasting flights as well as beer, cider, seltzer, and mocktails, the wine shop also offers a selection of farm-to-table food that’s served family style to share, such as charcuterie and cheeses, flatbreads, and salads. Shareable sides include bruschetta, spinach artichoke dip, and pretzel bites. For dessert, there’s a champagne cupcake, chocolate torte cake, and dark chocolate bar. With a wine club called Club Turquoise as well, members receive 2-4 bottles of wine each month and get invitations to purchase limited-release wines and attend winemaker events and tastings.
Customers also can make purchase online by virtually viewing their wine cellar here: https://www.turquoisewinebar.com/cellar.
