For the project, Yonutz is teaming up with local architecture firm ARCHSOL, which is working to design a donut shop that would transcend the traditional notions of a bakery and ice cream shop.

“We are thrilled to have partnered with Yonutz to design this one-of-a-kind donut shop in Phoenix,” said Trevor Ridley, the lead architect at ARCHSOL in a statement. “Our team embraced the challenge of transforming the vision into reality, creating a space that captures the joy and excitement associated with indulging in delicious treats. We believe that Yonutz will become a beloved destination for donut enthusiasts and a testament to innovative design.”

Designed to evoke a sense of delight and playfulness, the interior of Yonutz is a collaboration with Cafe Concepts, Inc that blends vibrant colors, contemporary elements, and whimsical touches to match the delicious treats produced every day within the restaurant. ARCHSOL’s architects carefully considered the flow of customers and created an open-concept space that encourages exploration and interaction. The shop features a central donut display, allowing customers to witness the artistry of freshly made treats and the signature “SMASHED™ station.”

One of the most exciting aspects of Yonutz is the incorporation of a state-of-the-art donut-making kitchen. ARCHSOL’s meticulous planning and expertise in creating functional spaces resulted in a kitchen that optimizes workflow efficiency while prioritizing hygiene and safety. The design allows customers to witness the magic of the unique Yonutz creation.

Those creations include Yonutz’ signature offerings such as the French Toast SMASH Donut, which sees vanilla ice cream topped with maple drizzle, rainbow sprinkles, and French toast cereal, as well as the Nutella Crunch SMASH Donut, featuring cookie dough ice cream topped with Nutella drizzle, chopped Oreo, and butter crunch pieces.

Meanwhile, the company also whips up classic donut varieties and a series of SMASH Milkshakes, a decadent donut-topped twist on the timeless treat.
