The brewery, according to their website, opened up back in 2016 in Gilbert before opening their second location in Mesa back in 2019. It also states, “12West Brewing was built on authenticity and inclusivity. What started as a kitchen homebrew experiment a decade ago fermented into a full-blown obsession.”

This new production facility will triple their product, housing 22,000 square feet with a new 30-barrel brewing system that will replace the production facility in Mesa.

Regarding the upcoming location, McCormick told What Now Phoenix on Tuesday, “It’s going to be a full kitchen, full service, full taproom and the production area is going to be visible to the public so they can see the operation without it being compartmentalized or blocked.”

As far as the timeline, he said, “We’re still about 10 months out on some permitting and licensing as of now. After that, we have about a year of building ahead of us, so we’re looking to open in 2023.”
