A new Torchy’s Tacos is coming to 99th Avenue and McDowell Road, according to ABC15 Arizona.
Customers can expect tacos – including breakfast options – chips and queso, street corn, refried beans, rice, churros, and fried cookie dough bites. They also offer happy hour, which is Monday-Friday 3pm-6pm, and all day Saturdays and Sundays.
Their website shares this backstory: “The ingredients make the meal. That’s why we responsibly and ethically source every single ingredient, down to the jalapeño. From there, we work hard to whip up the best damn tacos, cooked to order, just the way you like ’em.” There’s also a quote from founder Mike Rypka that says, “At Torchy’s, we’re serious about one thing. And one thing only. Our food. We source the highest quality ingredients around so we can serve up the best damn taco (or salad) you’ve ever tasted. Cooked to order—just the way you like it.”
The chain already has locations in Arizona, as well as Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
Director of Real Estate Development Greg Eickholt confirmed this location will be opening in 2025.
