A new Ono Hawaiian BBQ location is opening in Vineyard Towne Center built by Vestar at 37666 N Gantzel Road in Queen Creek.
“We don’t have an exact timeline yet. We’re projecting the end of 2024,” Director of Marketing Christine Jan told What Now Phoenix. She also shared, “Customers can expect fresh of the grill Hawaiian inspired delicious food. This will be a ground up location with double drive-thrus.”
In addition, they have another location planned in the Costco Plaza at 20100 South Ellsworth Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
The corporately owned chain is owned by CEO Joshua Liang, and was founded in 2002 as a family-owned fast casual restaurant is known for their Hawaiian comfort food. With locations in California and Arizona, they focus on made to order food that uses fresh ingredients with marinades and sauces from scratch.
Menu options include various plates, family meals, gourmet salads, appetizers, sides, and beverages, with the following protein options: Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, Island Fire Chicken, Grilled Chicken Breast, Hawaiian BBQ Beef, Island White Fish, Chicken Katsu, Teriyaki Chicken, and Kalua Pork. For sides, customers can choose from rice, macaroni salad, and vegetables.
