News of the Phoenix expansion was initially announced earlier this year, with Westgate’s official website saying the new outpost would be coming in late 2022, however, it seems as though that timeline has now been pushed back.

A representative of Chicken N Pickle did not return a request for comment.

Chicken N Pickle is a unique sports and entertainment park with a particular focus on pickle ball, as its name suggests, as well as four variations of rotisserie chicken, pork and beef sandwiches, fries, and tater tots.

According to a press release, “Chicken N Pickle Glendale will be equipped with bars, pavilions, multiple dining areas on the main floor and a rooftop dining experience, along with outdoor tables for guests to enjoy.”

“Our mission is to provide an atmosphere that fosters fun, friendship, and community and we are excited to bring that to Glendale,” Dave Johnson, founder of Chicken N Pickle, said in a statement. “We believe that bringing people together over a delicious, wood-fired rotisserie chicken, a cold beverage, and some friendly competition can create unifying bonds that ripple throughout the community and beyond.”

Kelli Alldredge, Chicken N Pickle’s Vice President of Engagement added, “We say ‘our hearts are local’ because we support our communities through philanthropy and through our business practices. We are thrilled to become a part of the Glendale community and begin supporting  the neighborhoods around us.”
