Nascent downtown Mexican food brand, Taco Boy’s, is set to open two Camelback area outposts through the end of this year and into next, beginning with one at 2949 N 32nd St “most likely late this year,” followed by another at 9055 W. Camelback Rd “next year most likely,” according to co-owner Harkaran Singh Sodhi.

“We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our local community and the abundant blessings from above,” Sodhi tells What Now Phoenix. “Starting as a small family taqueria, we are humbled by the opportunity to share our cherished home-cooked recipes with an ever-growing number of people in the valley.”

These openings come fresh on the heels of the company’s most recent restaurant opening at 9016 N Black Canyon Hwy which, when taken together with the two new spots, effectively doubles its footprint throughout the greater Phoenix region.

Taco Boy’s burst onto the downtown scene in 2019 and has garnered a loyal following ever since, thanks in no small part to its “[refusal] to compromise on quality,” and commitment to sourcing ingredients “from the most trusted vendors,” as detailed on its website

The result is a humble menu of Mexican favorites including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, platos, and vampiros, each of which can be prepared with a choice of charcoal-grilled proteins including carne asada, pollo, tripa, cabeza, pastor, and barbacoa.
