The company’s third location is set to replace Spinato’s Pizzeria in the Ancala Village Shopping Center later this year, according to the company’s website. This will be the second time owners Jeff Carlberg and John Dorsey have expanded the business since purchasing the company from founder Bill Forrest in 2019. The duo opened a second location in Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix following an unsuccessful attempt to open in Gilbert on the northwest corner of Higley and Chandler Heights.

This isn’t the only new location Carlberg and Dosey are working on. There are reports of the duo working on a new location in Tempe at the Changing Hands Bookstore plaza in the former home of Sacred Pi, but exact details could not be confirmed by What Now Media Group. Regardless of whether the owners are opening in Tempe, the new Scottsdale site proves Il Bosco has no intentions of slowing down. The new locations will feature the same recipes, menu offerings, and environments as the other sites, including the company’s original location in Scottsdale at 7120 E. Becker Lane, next to Handle Bar J’s.

“Every pizza is hand-made and topped with a fresh assortment of imported cheeses, house-made sauces, and seasonal veggies and meats,” according to the company’s website. “Gluten-free crust and vegan cheeses are also available. Enjoy our roasted seasonal vegetables with burrata cheese or a traditional Caprese salad with homemade pesto. To accompany your dining experience, you’ll discover a select list of wines available by the glass or bottle, beer on tap, and crafted cocktails.”
