Natalie and Anthony Abbott, a local beautician and tattoo artist respectively, are taking their passion for health and wellness to 1839 S Crismon Rd in Mesa later this summer with Fresh Prep, a meal prep service and small restaurant boasting an entirely organic menu made from scratch.
Natalie Abbott tells What Now Phoenix that what sets Fresh Prep apart from similar concepts is its small dine-in area with two outdoor patio spots, complemented by pick-up and delivery options, as well as its health-first approach.
“It is completely clean, organic, non-inflammatory oils – no MSG, no additives, no dyes, all that kind of stuff. So completely clean, transparent food, that’s what we’re going to have,” explains Abbott, adding, “And we’re going to make it at a reasonable price too.”
The menu itself is still being worked out by Abbott, who’s using sophisticated meal prep software to ensure that the health benefits of each dish are fully realized. What’s more, Abbott received the keys to the space in mid-May and is currently in the process of obtaining permits to complete the build-out.
