Thompson 105 is currently under construction at 10401 E. McDowell Mountain Ranch Road in Scottsdale. The restaurant was recently issued a full liquor license, according to state public records, and it looks like they are on track for an opening early next year.
Thompson 105 will serve dishes made over their wood-fired grill, homemade pastas and more from a menu co-developed by Chef Michael Dei Maggi. The concept is brought to us by restaurant industry veterans, including Rick Federico and Ric Gordon previously with P.F. Chang’s.
Gordon, who is the Operating Partner overseeing the day-to-day at Thompson 105, tells What Now Phoenix that they are looking forward to opening this new venture in the Scottsdale area. While the website teases a January opening, Gordon clarifies that it’s looking more like the restaurant will be ready to debut in early February.
In addition to their mouth watering Italian-inspired menu, there will also be a full bar serving stellar cocktails, fresh brews and wine. They do plan to have some televisions in this particular space of the restaurant, but it’s unlikely that you’ll even want to watch TV when you’re amongst a spectacular view of Thompson Peak.
