The company, founded by Aaron Wagner, was expected to be heard by the Scottsdale City Council on Dec. 4., where the council voted to continue a rezoning case for January 9, according to Rose Law Group Reporter. This is the case’s second continuance after it was first heard by the council in October. If approved, Swags will be two stories with a rooftop terrace and encompass about 9,100 square feet. The existing single-story building will be demolished for the project.

Jordan Rose, president and founder of Rose Law Group, is helping Wags Capital with the rezoning of the site, which was the former home of Three Wisemen. Wags Capital hopes its expertise as a multi-faceted boutique Investment firm specializing in real estate, food & beverage, and private equity in emerging markets. Other brands operated under Wags Capital include Las Botellas, Dirty Bird, Hello Sugar, Everbowl, Mas Por Favor, Crumbl Cookie, Electric Fish, Village Baker, Kokonut Island Grill, Cali’flour, and more. The company is also working on a new concept called The Morning After Brunch Club. Wags Capital received unanimous approval from Scottsdale’s Planning Commission on Sept. 13.

“Any city around the country would be salivating to land a high-end restaurant of this caliber,” Rose said in a statement to the Phoenix Business Journal. “[Wagner] is taking what is currently a run-down building, investing millions of dollars to make it beautiful, and run a world-class restaurant in the heart of Scottsdale’s nightlife.”
