World of Sourdough debuted in Avondale earlier this year, with a Chandler outpost to follow in mid-July. Ethan Larson, who co-owns the Chandler franchise, has reached out to What Now Phoenix to add that they will also be opening the Scottsdale location towards the end of this year at 32421 N. Scottsdale Road by the Summit at Scottsdale shopping center.
Larson maintains a great relationship with the franchisor of World of Sourdough, which is a sister company to California-based Sourdough & Co. “There’s a lot of scalability for this brand, especially as it pertains to the growing market in Arizona,” Larson says.
He and his franchisee group have signed on for three units and are soon to begin scouting locations for the third. The menu includes sandwiches made with premium quality meats, artisan cheeses and fresh cut veggies, plus a variety of classic salads served with a side of their sourdough bread.
