“We’re excited to start expanding more in the East Valley with two locations in Mesa and two locations in Gilbert, along with the previously announced location in Queen Creek,” Peterson tells What Now Phoenix. “We’ve loved sharing our passion for connection through cookies and are excited to be able to share that with more people as we grow in the community.”

Peterson opened Batch Cookie Shop’s flagship bakery in a subleased kitchen in Gilbert in 2020 along with his wife Jessica, brother Craig, and Craig’s wife Boston. That was then parlayed into a permanent home at the corner of Higley and Baseline Roads one year later.

Capitalizing on that success, What Now Phoenix reported this past January that Batch would be opening a shop in the Peterson gang’s hometown of Queen Creek this winter.

At the time, Craig Peterson told What Now Phoenix, “Our circle of family and friends have been begging us to bring Batch here for a couple of years,” adding, “Batch Cookie Shop really caters to the family. Queen Creek is a wonderful community of families, and we are happy to provide a location where they can join, celebrate or have fun together. There are only so many choices for a dessert or treat in Queen Creek, and we are thrilled to bring in a locally grown concept and not another corporate chain.”

Aside from its physical locations, Batch also provides delivery services and nationwide shipping, allowing folks all over the country to indulge in the company’s signature creations such as an Andes Milk Chocolate Cookie made the iconic candy, Raspberry White Chocolate Chip, Oreo Chunk, gluten-free Cookie Dough Cookie, classic Chocolate Chip, and so many more.
